The Importance of ISO 27001 Compliance
At AXC, our customers are at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we’re proud to announce the renewal of our ISO 27001 compliance certification — a globally recognised standard for information security management.
ISO 27001 sets out the framework for establishing, maintaining, and continually improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS). It ensures we have the right controls in place to protect our clients’ data and information assets.
What Is ISO 27001?
Developed by ISO and IEC, ISO 27001 helps organisations manage information security through a risk-based approach. It’s flexible, scalable, and applicable across industries — making it especially relevant for AXC as a managed services provider.
Achieving certification involves a rigorous audit by an independent body, and renewal requires ongoing compliance with 114 annex controls across 14 domains, including access control, cryptography, supplier relationships, and business continuity.
Why ISO 27001 Matters
In today’s digital landscape, information is one of the most valuable — and vulnerable — assets. ISO 27001 helps businesses like AXC protect data, comply with regulations, and build trust with customers and partners.
Internally, it also drives operational efficiency and encourages good security habits among employees, such as locking screens and managing access responsibly.
What It Means for AXC Customers
Renewing our ISO 27001 certification demonstrates our commitment to safeguarding customer data. Our teams are trained, our processes are robust, and our approach to information security is structured and transparent.
We believe that investing in strong internal security practices not only protects our clients but also sets a standard for others in the industry.
